This means that a ready to use software package is already installed on a container which is available to you as software-on-demand without the need for installation and configuration. Among the offers are databases, content management and developer tools.

Gallery is one of the most popular free photo management tools and enables simple creation and management of picture galleries in the Internet. Photos can be resized, rotated and reversed, preview images are automatically created. Albums serve to group the photos and their hierarchy can be freely configured.
MediaWiki
MediaWiki is a freely available administration program in the form of a Wiki system, which means that every user can change content using a web browser. It was originally developed for the free encyclopedia Wikipedia. The software is currently also being used for various other projects by the charitable Wikimedia Foundation and since it is freely available to all for many other projects in the internet or intranets. MediaWiki is licensed under GPL and written using the PHP script language. MediaWiki uses the MySQL relational database to store content.
MySQL
MySQL Server is the most widely used relational database administration system. It is available for various operating systems as both open source and enterprise versions and is the basis for many dynamic web presences. The open source version of the software is used in our appliance.
phpBB
phpBB is a free open source program for the creation of an internet forum in the style of a so-called bulletin board based on the script language PHP and a MySQL database. The software supports the use of templates through which the look of the forum can be tailored to a particular design. phpBB claims to offer the most translations of any internet based forum.
PostgreSQL
PostgreSQL is a free, object-oriented database management system (OODBMS). Its development began in the 1980s; the software has been further developed by an open source community since 1997. PostgreSQL is compatible with SQL-Standard ANSI-SQL 92, this means that all required functions are available and behave as defined.
Apache Tomcat
Apache Tomcat creates an environment on web servers for the running of Java code. This is a servlet-container written in Java which, with the help of the JSP compiler Jasper, can also translate JavaServer pages into servlets and execute them. Also included is a complete HTTP server. The Tomcat http server is used above all for development since in most cases an Apache web server is preferred in production.

Typo3 is one of the most popular free content management systems with which web pages can be quickly easily and comfortably created without requiring any special knowledge. It offers almost unlimited possibilities in the creation of websites and can simplify many tasks for the website owner. The creation, modification and removal of pages and content such as text, images and messages is very simple and efficient. Typo3 is based on the PHP script language and uses MySQL as database.
OpenVPN
OpenVPN is a program for creating virtual private networks (VPN) over a secure TLS connection. Encryption is performed using OpenSSL libraries. OpenVPN can use either UDP or TCP for transport. The appliance enables customers to configure a secure connection to the internal network.

Wordpress is a system for administering the contents of a website (text and images). It is especially suited to the creation and maintenance of a Weblog since it allows every entry to be assigned to one or multiple freely selectable categories for which it automatically generates the relevant navigation elements. Parallel uncategorized single pages are also allowed.
